OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell to USAO in the Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament semifinals 2-1 at Stars Field on Monday night.

OCU, ranked second in the NAIA, fell to 17-2-1. The Stars anticipate gaining an at-large bid into the opening round of the NAIA Championships on Nov. 22.

The Stars scored first in the 15th minute of the match. The Stars' only goal came from Chris Spendlove, a sophomore from Liverpool, England.

Wesley Costa scored the winning goal for the Drovers in the 81st minute of the match. Nikola Cakerevic had the other goal for USAO.

USAO outshot the Stars 16-13. The Stars' keeper Andy Fitzpatrick came up with four saves in the match, while the OCU defensive players posted two saves.
